“Beloved” (2011) is a short and sweet 4-minute film that was made through the efforts of a group of 15-19 year olds working together and has now won numerous film festival awards.

“Ties” is a short 6-minute film from 2008 that tests the friendship of Andrew (Corey Boardman) and Eric (Eric Schneider) in their dorm room.

After coming out to his parents and wanting to be “normal”, Jason takes pills that he believes will cure him in this cute 6-minute film. Be sure that you listen during the closing credits of “Cure(d)” (2011) because honestly I couldn’t stop laughing.

“First Love” is a wonderful short sexy and romantic five-minute film showing two young men, an Indian and a Mexican.

The magic of their love is powerfully shown while they are on vacation. At the end we are treated to images of them older, more mature and still very much in love.

The 1994 movie “The Disco Years” tells the story of a teen (Matt Nolan) having a brief sexual experience with a handsome tennis team player (Russell Scott Lewis). But the team mate gets cold feet and turns homophobic. Tom then has to deal with the rejection and his coming of age and the threat of being exposed as a young gay man in 1978.
